At present in Albania, Information Technology (IT) is a relatively small sector, but it has a high potential for growth, and it is quickly developing into an innovative and attractive market for young Albanian jobseekers. Moreover, IT experts can easily work from Albania for foreign markets; for example, the EU alone has an IT labor shortage of approximately 250,000 jobs per year. RisiAlbania project has focused its interventions in two sub-sectors, such as software/services and business process outsourcing (BPO).
