Skills Development

RisiAlbania addresses the increase in employment opportunities for young men and women in Albania through private training providers, who aim to design innovative and attractive courses that enable young people and marginalized groups to improve their skills according to labor market demands.

The project contributes to enriching the thematic offer of non-public providers in training topics and curricula that are in demand and innovative in the labor market, such as cybersecurity, digital marketing, and green skills. Special support is also given to geographically expanding the offer to new cities like Korça, Shkodra, Kruja, and Saranda, making it more inclusive.

To contribute to improving the quality of non-public providers, the project supports the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Qualifications in developing modalities for referencing private training providers in the National Qualifications Framework, which is aligned with the European Framework.

Additionally, the project supports effective public-private dialogue at the national level for skills development by public providers. Through the Sectoral Skills Committees in ICT and Tourism, now functional as a result of the project's support, the voice of business is present in reviewing existing qualifications and developing new ones.
