An initiative has been launched aimed at strengthening the export of olive oil. This initiative will be implemented by KASH in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Technology Transfer Centers, the Albanian Olive Oil Association, FED Invest, and with the support of RisiAlbania, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) implemented by Helvetas.

The objective is to enhance the export of olive oil through support provided to this sector, as follows:

  • Identification of olive oil producers for sales in terms of quantity and quality.
  • Capacity building and raising awareness about best practices in olive oil production and quality preservation.
  • Analysis of olive oil to assist exporters in accessing higher-value markets.
  • Support for collaboration among various stakeholders, including QTTB, AREB, local authorities, farmers, processors, and export companies.
