STATEMENT OF RISIALBANIA ON COVID-19
The RisiAlbania team is constantly monitoring developments in Albania regarding the situation of COVID-19, declared a world pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). In support of the Government of Albania’s efforts to prevent further spread of COVID-19, our team is working online and practicing home office. We will continue to further our efforts in improving youth employment in Albania in the sectors of Tourism, ICT, Agribusiness, Career Guidance and Non-formal training.
The current situation requires coordinated efforts from all citizens, public and private bodies, and from the donor community to comply with ‘social distancing’ measures in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. In light of the current situation, RisiAlbania calls for all our partners and collaborators to follow the instructions issued by authorities and to respect official recommendations.
Such measures imply that RisiAlbania staff shall adopt innovative ways of communication and interaction while executing our daily activities. Moreover, the situation brings to our attention the fact that innovative and agile ways of doing business must be explored further. RisiAlbania recommends to its staff members and partners to pursue online meeting tools when possible, by thus making use of technological development. Field trips and work-related activities from our partners should be reduced to a minimum and respect official guidelines.
RisiAlbania encourages its partners to keep track on latest updates and financial support measures introduced by the Government and commits itself to keeping all lines of communication open with partners.
