Helvetas will continue to play a key role in Albania as a knowledge broker and connector among public institutions, private sector actors, and civil society. Building on years of experience and a strong network of partners, Helvetas aims to foster collaboration that delivers sustainable solutions to economic and social development challenges—especially those affecting youth, women, and the digital transition.

This forward-looking commitment builds on the legacy of RisiAlbania, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which is now concluding after 12 impactful years. RisiAlbania introduced market-based approaches, influenced public policy, and helped thousands of young people find meaningful employment in high-potential sectors such as ICT, tourism, and agribusiness.

As RisiAlbania comes to a close, its knowledge and lessons are being documented and shared to inform future initiatives.
