How to avoid stereotypes during the Career Counseling process: Training with the staff of the Career Office-Municipality of Tirana

Throughout the work of our partners to provide more employment opportunities for young people in Albania, we pay special attention to work based on comprehensive and sustainable principles.

In this context, a specific training was held yesterday with the staff of the Office The training, held by Besnik Ligaci, Head of GSI in RisiAlbania, focused on the main guidelines for Career Counselors, while addressing gender equality and stereotypical gender career choices, during counseling.

“It is important to be aware of prejudices and limitations during the process.” – was emphasized during the training. Social inclusion in the labor market for young women and men, part of marginalized groups is the focus of all RisiAlbania interventions. We aim for all individuals to benefit directly or indirectly from our interventions.
