On September 23rd, 2022 took place the Conference titled ‘’Digital Transformation: Where Tech meets Finance’’. The conference brought together the wider digital finance community: service providers, end users, traditional businesses, banks, advisors, academics, researchers, and government representatives from Albania and the region. The conference helped the creation of a unique meeting place that enabled participants to meet and share knowledge and to discuss problems of the ecosystem as well as promote the benefits of digital payments and stimulate further copying by other companies and also increased usage of the digital payments. This event was organized by EasyPay, a leading Fintech Company and supported by RisiAlbania.

The cooperation among public and private job intermediaries is a necessity for a functioning labour market serving to its jobseekers. The project RisiAlbania is supporting the National Agency for Employment and Skills, to establish a cooperation starting with three private employment agencies, important in the labour market, respectively: duapune.com, profesionisti.al and njoftime.com. Signing of the cooperation agreements, aims at unifying the labour market information and eases the access of jobseekers to job vacancies announcements. Representatives from Visit Gjirokastra Association, Visit Saranda Association and Albanian Trip company participated in the Sustainable Tourism B2B event organized by the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC), in Ancona, Italy in 16th of September 2022. After the participation in New Deal Europe B2B event in 4-11th of April 2022, they continued to represent and promote Albania and its regions in international tourism events. RisiAlbania partners had the possibility to meet and exchange with international actors, increasing knowledge in sustainable tourism and creating new business linkages.  

The National Technical Working Group (NTWG) is a public private non-formal partnership that promotes the quality standards for fruits, vegetables, medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in Albania. Quality standards are crucial for the expansion of the Albanian exports in high value markets, for improving the value chain management, and ensuring a food safety system also in domestic market. The NTWG works in close cooperation with and is recognized by the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat and its Technical Committees. With global events with regard to climate change, it is about time that also in Albania, the tourism actors make concrete steps toward international recognizing on sustainable tourism standards. With RisiAlbania’s support three Albanian tour operators, focused in responsible and sustainable tourism, will get certified by TravelLife, an international certification body, accredit by GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).
