National Employment Service (NES) is working extensively to strengthen its ties with business for better and more job offers. RisiAlbania in close cooperation with NES, developed methodology of cooperation with business and regional labour market analysis, to support this process. A team of experts from the Alberghi Diffusi Association is assessing Albanian villages that belong to the 100 Villages Strategy to evaluate the possibilities of implementing the Albergo Diffuso (scattered hotels) model in the country. Alberghi Diffusi are a hospitality concept designed to develop tourism in hamlets and old town centres without changing their characteristics, differently from new build hotels or resorts. Emanuel Cela a 35 years old farmer of Tepelena lives with his family in a village called Hormova in Tepelena, south of Albania. Their only income are generated from the MAPs business. Together with his wife, and brother, they have collected for many years medicinal plants and dried them. Sofat festival kicked off during the last weekend of September in Asim Zenel village in Gjirokastra. The Secretariat of Albania Investment Council carried out an analysis of Investment Promotion and Priority Sectors in the country and initiated discussions on the main findings and suggestions of this study with experts from public, private and donor institutions.
