General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance is important for developing countries to tap into EU markets. Albania is taking steps to achieve this by training local consultants to deliver relevant services to the private sector. Currently, implementation of GDPR in the Albanian private sector is a recent requirement and the aim of this initiative is to create professionals that fill in the market gap. Can the region of Gjirokastra be a model of sustainable tourism destination?  This was the topic of a webinar organized by Visit-Gjirokastra association, with the support of RisiAlbania, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation-SDC.
