Your Story Inspires: Albanian Women Entrepreneurs Share Their Stories

Inclusive Employment of young women in developing countries like Albania is crucial for the sustainable economic progress. Based on the 2019 report of the National Institute of Statistics in Albania (INSTAT), the percentage of women owners or administrators in active enterprises across the country scored 25.4%, which is an improvement compared to the previous years. Despite the increasing trend, the numbers remain low and mainly come from small enterprises. Many factors hinder women’s and especially young women’s entrepreneurial ideas from becoming real businesses. Implementation of the Business Cooperation Methodology in the Regional Directorates and Local Offices of the National Employment and Skills Agency

The National Agency of Employment and Skills (NAES) remains committed to further develop business cooperation relations. Alberghi Difussi: An innovative and crisis-resilient tourism model to be piloted in Kruja

In view of of sustainable tourism development and youth employment in rural areas, RisiAlbania is supporting the implementation of the Italian model Alberghi Diffusi in Albanian villages. Alberghi Diffusi model aims to transform abandoned villages in authentic touristic centers, where the tourist has the possibility to experience the culture, history, nature, and local lifestyles.
