Following the institutional agreement between the Municipality of Tirana and the Ministry of Education for the implementation of the Career Counseling service in the pre-university system, signed at the beginning of 2022, RisiAlbania has supported the Tirana Career Counseling Center in advancing this process. In addition to preparing supporting materials, by the end of 2022, 105 teachers, school principals, psychologists, and social workers have been trained on how to deliver the supporting materials in the classroom. Starting from January, the delivery of career counseling materials has begun in 7 selected schools (3 secondary schools – up to 9th grade, and 4 high schools – up to 12th grade) for a pilot phase. The pilot is expected to impact 1300-1500 students in this academic year.
