As part of the vision to promote and develop the sustainable tourism standards market in Albania we are thrilled to witness both private and public actors coming together to promote sustainable tourism standards and showcase the progress that Albania has made in this area to potential clients in the ITB23 trade fair.
In line with this vision, RisiAlbania has supported the discussion panel titled “Sustainable Tourism with Standards!” during ITB23. Part of this panel were the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Mirela Kumbaro; Urs Wagenseil, Sustainable Tourism Expert from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts; Elvis Kotherja, from Elite Travel tour operator; and Elton Caushi, from Albanian Trip tour operator. Their valuable insights and expertise helped to shed light on the business case for the sustainable tourism standards in the Albanian tourism industry, the progress made so far, and the road ahead for embracing them further.
