- RisiAlbania ensures that studies and researches are undertaken in a gender-sensitive manner in order to identify gender-specific needs, obstacles, and barriers to youth employment. This requires that those engaging in research are aware of gender issues and in command of all the skills needed for coming forward with gender-sensitive findings and gender-responsive recommendations.
- Participation of women in capacity development measures as well as in policy dialogue processes are being monitored periodically and continuously through the collection of gender disaggregated data.
- Mechanism and procedures are introduced, enabling the monitoring of women’s and men’s access to technical innovation, finance, and upgrading opportunities in the future. Disproportional imbalances identified between female and male beneficiaries will require the subsequent identification of underlying reasons, and the introduction of respective gender-responsive adjustments.
In general, any gaps and/or under-representation of women will point to the need for ameliorating measures. These include affirmative action and special measures in order to ensure that women benefit equally from the interventions.
At the structural level, this integrated approach will be particularly visible in our work on stimulating public debates, thereby contributing to the elimination of gender stereotypes, strengthening the female skills base and creating the overall conditions in which men and women participate in, and contribute to, economic growth on an equal level.
